Accessibility statement
The Villacher Alpen Arena endeavours to make its website accessible in accordance with the Federal Act on Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of the Federal Government (Web Accessibility Act – WZG) BGBl. I. No. 59/2019 as amended.
This accessibility statement applies to the website https://villacheralpenarena.at/
This website is partially compliant with the AA level of the ‘Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1’ and with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
Incompatibility with accessibility regulations
- Individual link texts are either missing or very general (‘Learn more!’), which makes navigation difficult for screen reader users.
- The colour contrast of some text elements may not be optimal on certain devices or with certain settings, which impairs readability.
- Keyboard operation has only been partially tested so far; it is possible that certain interactive elements (e.g. buttons, modal windows) cannot be focused or operated consistently.
Disproportionate burden
- A complete manual test with screen reader software (NVDA, VoiceOver) has not yet been carried out. Due to the effort involved, this has not yet been fully implemented.
- Complete optimisation of colour contrasts for all content on all devices and at all zoom levels has not yet been completed, both technically and in terms of time.
Content that does not fall within the scope of the legislation
- Videos, external documents or embedded third-party content that are outside the direct control of the website cannot currently be displayed in a fully accessible manner. (Section 2 (3) WZG – Content provided by third parties)
Accessibility statement
This statement was created on 14 January 2026. It was based on a self-assessment using automated testing tools. A complete manual test in accordance with EN 301 549 is planned.
