General information <\/u><\/strong><\/p>

Organisers or implementing associations, clubs, other institutions and private organisers are obliged to comply with the instructions and regulations of these house rules. Upon entering the Villacher Alpen Arena, visitors confirm that they are aware of the house rules and their validity. The consumption<\/strong> of alcoholic beverages is not permitted anywhere in the sports centre or in the changing rooms. <\/strong>Visitors are not permitted to consume their own food and beverages in the Arena Caf\u00e9. <\/p>

Scope<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

The house rules provide information and establish rules of conduct for visitors entering and staying on the event grounds. These apply to the entire grounds and all buildings of the Villacher Alpen Arena. <\/p>

The Purpose of the house rules <\/u><\/strong><\/p>

is to <\/p>

  • prevent danger or damage to persons and property.<\/li>
  • protect the event site from damage and contamination.<\/li>
  • ensure that events and training sessions run smoothly and without accidents or disruptions.<\/li><\/ul>

    Purpose of the event<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

    Only events that comply with the framework of the facility in accordance with official requirements may be held in the VAA.<\/p>

    Event date and times<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

    The date and times of the event must be agreed between the VAA management and the organiser at least four weeks before the planned event. The organiser has a maximum of two days before and two days after the event to set up and dismantle the necessary infrastructure, unless otherwise specified by the VAA due to operational requirements. <\/p>

    Set up<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

    The erection of tents, barriers, advertising materials such as banners, flags, etc. is only possible after consultation with the VAA or must be agreed upon at least five working days before the event. These must be removed as soon as possible after the end of the event, but no later than two days after the event. <\/p>

    Safety<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

    Traffic routes and exits must not be obstructed and must be kept clear of any kind of storage at all times. The requirements of the authorities and the building authority’s usage permit as well as the regulations in the Events Act must be observed in all cases. The technical equipment provided by the VAA may only be installed by in-house personnel and used after training or approval. <\/p>

    Catering services for events <\/u><\/strong><\/p>

    Catering is provided exclusively by the Arena Caf\u00e9. The organiser is not permitted to operate its own catering stands. <\/p>

    Organising sports clubs may serve coffee and cake to visitors in exchange for voluntary donations and provide their own employees with food and beverages. The relevant legal provisions must be observed, in particular with regard to hygiene and trade law requirements. The organiser is liable for compliance with all legal provisions. The space designated for this purpose will be determined by the VAA and allocated to the organiser. <\/p>

    Liability and sanctions<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

    The VAA accepts no liability beyond the statutory provisions for accidents and other damage of any kind affecting users or visitors to the event venue. The VAA is not liable for theft or loss of items in connection with the event. <\/p>

    The organiser shall provide evidence of adequate liability insurance, which also covers cases of slight negligence.<\/p>

    Cleaning<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

    The event venue must be cleaned and returned to the condition it was in before the event. Any dirt or damage must be reported immediately by the organiser (pictures). The premises in the sports centre and team quarters must be left in a clean and tidy condition. Any necessary cleaning\/disposal costs will be invoiced in accordance with the VAA rates. <\/p>

    Parking<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

    The marked parking areas are available. Additional parking areas can be opened by arrangement with the VAA. Overnight parking is not permitted on the VAA premises, but there is an alternative option at the gravel car park opposite the entrance. <\/p>

    Sound and image recordings<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

    The visitor acknowledges that audio and video recordings may be made at events for journalistic reasons and subsequently used (television and radio broadcasts, photos, videos, audio recordings, etc.). If the visitor is recorded or photographed during or in connection with the event for television, radio, internet, film, print media, etc., with the organiser’s permission, they agree that these images or recordings may be stored, evaluated and also used for commercial purposes by the organiser and\/or other authorised parties (e.g. television stations) without compensation and without any temporal or spatial restrictions, using any current or future technical means, provided that such use does not unduly infringe on the personal interests of the visitor. In this context, the organiser is entitled to grant third parties rights of use to the aforementioned recordings. <\/p>

    Visitors are prohibited from transmitting audio and\/or visual material, descriptions, results and\/or statistics of the event in whole or in part via the Internet, radio, TV or other current and\/or future media technologies, or from assisting other persons in carrying out such activities. Visitors are only permitted to take photographs, film, video or other audio\/visual recordings of events for private use. Any commercial use or use for commercial purposes of such recordings is strictly prohibited. <\/p>

    Visitors to the event shall grant the organiser the rights of use for images or videos showing scenes from a sporting competition as soon as they use them commercially (e.g. monetised YouTube channel).<\/p>

    Supervision<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

    For all events, the organiser is obliged to deploy a sufficient number of appropriately trained and clearly identified security and law enforcement personnel at their own expense.<\/p>

    Additional agreements<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

    Additional agreements must be recorded immediately and exclusively in writing.<\/p>

    Final provisions<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

    Failure to comply with the provisions of the house rules entitles the VAA to immediately withdraw from the contract, particularly in the event of culpable breach of contract, and to terminate any event in the event of imminent danger. In addition, the VAA reserves the right to claim reimbursement of costs from the organiser in such cases. <\/p>
