Villacher Alpen Arena stands for #limitless sports pleasure!

We can truly be proud of our Villacher Alpen Arena. A sports arena, not far from the city center, available to use all year round, offering 18 different disciplines, home to 14 clubs, for professionals, hobby athletes, and teenagers, truly for the whole family.

Our Villacher Alpen Arena is a hit, a success model in the Alps-Adriatic region, internationally in demand. Our philosophy #villachgrenzenlos (#vilalchlimitless) also applies perfectly to the Alpen Arena. #limitless sports pleasure meets #limitless professionalism and flexibility.

Roller skiiing in summer, cross-country skiing in winter, ski jumping year-round, climbing in summer, and ice climbing and sledding on the children's sledding hill during the winter months. In addition, we have international flair because the Villacher Alpen Arena is in #limitless demand. Athletes from all over the world come to Villach for training sessions and high-profile international competitions.

The #limitless success, which also translates into high indirect profitability, is not only due to the dedicated team of the Villacher Alpen Arena. Many volunteers contribute and are essential pillars in the #limitless successful model. The sports facility is also #limitless sustainable with environmentally friendly and energy-efficient technology.

The #limitless enthusiasm that the Villacher Alpen Arena generates is fully deserved.

Sporty regards!

Mayor Günther Albel

Chairman of the Villacher Alpen Arena Association

The Alpen Arena offers optimal conditions for 18 different sports…

…and has gained significant value through its three-kilometre FIS-certified roller track in the summer. During winter, there is a five-kilometre cross-country skiing track available, which is almost weather-independent thanks to modern snow-making facility. Ball hockey, inline hockey, and climbing also find a suitable venue in the Alpen Arena.

The Alpen Arena has become an essential facility of the sports city Villach, providing the best training and competition conditions not only for professionals but also for many young and recreational athletes. As an attraction for the little ones, there is a children's ski jump and a sledding hill that can be used for free.

Sporty regards!
